I am SO lazy with updates
All of Ulduar's normal mode bosses obviously dead by now, been a while. Working towards Algalon at the moment, and killing hardmodes in general. A hardmode per week has been a the pace for our three days per week raiding, as it tends to take a full evening to learn them and fall them.
Hardmodes cleared in 25man:
Flame Leviathan (4 towers)
XT Deconstructor
Hodir
Iron Council (full hardmode, Steelbreaker last)
Next up: Uhh, Thorim I think? Didn't feel too hard.

Waiting for Ulduar
Undying Twilight Vanquisher of the Nightfall riding an armored azure drake certainly looks and sounds better than the Hands of A'dal on a bearmount, but somehow it feels a tad less.
We started to clear the content in WotLK with the same winning formula we used for TBC, but it it didn't take long for us to work out that "three nights of serious raiding" just didn't work anymore. There simply isn't enough content available to justify using three nights on.
Granted, Naxxramas was somewhat fun for a couple of weeks, Malygos added in one more, and Sarth 3D actually finally felt like a real kill when we got it down. None of the stuff we've done in WotLK has really given us the Sunwell Plateau -type thrills where you skip that heartbeat as the boss finally falls over, and people yell "YESS!!" in guildchat. Except that one time when Kollar almost outdamaged Outcast on some fight, that was pretty intense.
Yeah, of course I'm kidding, that never happened.
3.1 is now right around the corner, though. Looking at Ulduar's bringing on the table, it seems like we need to load up on margaritas and put on our gaming faces. Unlike the bosses in Naxxramas, the titanfolk don't look like they're going to fall over just because we ask nicely.
So put behind the tedious WotLK raidgrind and join us for us in Ulduar.
We're still don't raid as much or fast as the current Top Guild on Horde (I've lost count on which one that might be at the moment), but we're sure not to waste time enjoying the couple of evenings we dedicate for WoW. While raiding might not be quite as seriuz bsnz as M'uru made it look like, I'm sure we'll find plenty of reason hone our skills once again.

ps. Now stop pestering about lack of updates on this page!
There's simply nothing newsworthy posting, that's all!

Ebrium - The sweetspot between casual and hardcore
/Now recruiting/

Tue/Thu/Sun raiding
Full SSC, TK, MH, BT cleared, and training on Entropious pre-nerf.
Kil'Jaeden killed in the first reset after nerf.

Working at three nights per week, never past midnight, we don't compromise our daily lives over the raiding game. To make this possible in high end raiding, we've kept our numbers down to a small tightly knit team. A team so solid, that we take great joy from every single night we raid together. Enough joy for us to be able to boast that not a single player has left Ebrium for another guild, ever. However real life takes its toll, and every now and then one of us leaves out to focus on studies/work/family. And as with all expansions, there's always people re-evaluating their interest on the game, and changing their roles in the raidforce accordingly.
For WotLK we're looking to keep our winning recipe, and go with more of the same. A testament to our team’s dedication, we've stayed true to our three day schedule all the way, achieving horde firsts from killing Ragnaros in the dim and distant past to the recent full clearance of SWP. So long story short, if you'd like to be a part of a prestigious, casual and time-efficient group of gamers, please drop us a line.
We're currently looking for any and all exceptional and talented individuals, as our members are flexible on which roles to fill, and we can juggle around based on our recruits. That being said, we're especially keen on finding a couple of solid healers to pick up my own mantle. After four years of priest -healing I, for one, am keen to change to stabbing people in the face, should there be room for it.
If you're the least bit interested, please contact us.
You'll be amazed of how nice it is to play with seriously casual people who actually live up to their promises.

...again. Yes I know I was wrong, so no need to point it out. Undead dragons don't count to begin with. But it doesnt matter, he's dead and we are not so we are happy! Sunwell half cleared now, still true to the three raids a week principle.
Yeayea, I'll shut up now. Congrats again everybody, awesome work!

He sure did!

(Yes we suck at taking killshots. We don't care!)
So we killed this guy last night, eeking the counter up to 2 down in Sunwell Plateau. We had checked the waters a couple of weeks ago following our first Kalecgos kill to see just how terrifying he was - we were in for a treat there - to be followed up by a kill last night after eight hours of serious training.
Some serious guild effort went into preparing for this guy, from levelling Leatherworking, grinding out gromsbloods, farming tons and tons and tons of elixirs to whoring Nozmordre out for guildbank funds, and all our guildies can be proud of the work done. It payed off neatly in the end and I'm looking forward for the next fights in Sunwell Plateau. All this whilst still on a 3 day schedule!

Black Temple Cleared

We did it! After two nights of training and learning to avoid big fire elementals we triumphed over the last remaining obstacle the third night, and killed mr. Illidan Stormrage, also known as The Betrayer. And so we finished what we as a guild set out to do, namely clear all raid content that The Burning Crusade has to offer us. Or at least untill the Sunwell Plateau is released, but we will tackle that in due time with the same determination and resolve as we did since we first set foot in Karazhan, now one year and a few weeks ago.
It's been a fantastic ride so far, and as a guild we've come a long way since, saying goodbye to some old friends, and welcoming new ones in our midst, always focussing on the cohesion of our group over individual aspirations, aiming to bring enjoyable yet focussed play during our raids.
As a nice bonus, below are our top secrat(TM) tactics on how to tackle mr. Stormrage himself:
